Responsibilities

Your responsibilities are inclusive but not limited to:

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality testing activities - writing test cases, align with stakeholders, acceptance criteria management
• Hands on QA
• Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability across the delivery process as well as expected business outcomes
• Work with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to translate requirements into detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software, recommends and facilitate solutions to these issues in collaboration with the development team
• Ensure timely, expectations-managed, risk-mitigated & seamless deliveries and adoption by users (smooth launch, proper users knowledge management through user documentation and training, support structure for business users, monitor adoption)
• Reviews customer and user feedback, build post mortem, recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience

Requirements

• 5+ years functional and hands-on QA experience in
  • A multicultural environment,
  • Ideally in IT / infrastructure customer facing projects, in IT Service delivery / Client-side Technology Operations
  • Working with teams of designers, developers, and/or data scientists
• Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Familiarity with Google Suite and Office softwares
• Degree or higher education in computer science, engineering or any relevant field of study
• Fluency in English
• Possess following additional skills, qualities and experience:
  • Ability to enjoy new challenges and solve for complex problems – the desire and passion to ‘think ahead’ is critical to success in this role
  • Can compromise between the perfect and a good-enough result while being flexible enough for different products or processes variations
  • Exceptional interpersonal & stakeholders management skills (internal and external), great communicator, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Highly organized and can adjust priorities, strong attention to detail
  • Critical thinker and problem-solver, comfortable into managing conflict and negotiation
  • Self-starter, accountable, and autonomous

  • Stress tolerant, adaptable, easily dealing with ambiguity
  • Leader, team player
• Will be considered as a plus:
  • Japanese and any other language proficiency
  • Experience in next-generation technology, Digital Transformation/AI/Data Science
  • Knowledge in Ruby on Rails, Rspec / Capybara / Selenium, knowledge of CI / CD pipelines
