SpeakHer is a website to promote women speakers in Japan, built by me, Tutti Quintella, and Yan Fan.  I wanted to showcase a recent project where I got to explore UI design, as well as invite any female or non-binary Canvas community members interested in public speaking to self-nominate.

The goals of the project are to empower more women to participate in public speaking events, and to eliminate male-only panels (aka "manels"). Our site is currently bilingual (Japanese and English) and we are working on adding additional languages.
