This is part of my series on Wallpaper Groups. There are 17 ways of creating repeating tilings on a 2D surface; each one is known as a Wallpaper Group. This is an example of PMM: "The group pmm has reflections in two perpendicular directions, and four rotation centres of order two (180°) located at the intersections of the reflection axes."
