I am excited to announce that I will be holding a solo exhibition in July-August this year. 2020 has been a strange year for everyone, filled with lots of fears and uncertainties. I wanted to channel some positive and protective energy back into this year, and have created a series based on 'engimono,' symbols of celebration and good luck intertwined within the urban environment of an imaginary Tokyo. As we cautiously start venturing back into the city I would love if my paintings of manekineko, tai fish, daruma, omikuji and others can bring a smile and serve as omamori for better days to come.

Incredible!
Thanks, Trent Mcbride This one was completely absorbing to create.
If you are in the area come by the exhibition next week♪
If you are far away (and/or trying to stay home as much as possible, which is probably the safest idea) you can see the collection up on the gallery shop: https://cloudscoffee.theshop.jp/ from 7/29 till 8/2 :)
So cool!
