in bloom - comic pages for "hajime"

"in bloom" is a comic I made for anthology zine "hajime". Here you can see two of the four pages, still without lettering. I used a brush pen on paper to tell the story of my first day in Japan.
Seven artists who participated in "hajime" were asked to tell their first impressions of Tokyo in four pages. "hajime" had an exhibition at Tokyo Chapter's gallery in April 2018 and it is the first issue of collaborative project ToCo - the Tokyo Collective.

"hajime" is also at Clouds Art+Coffee ZINE HOUSE exhibition from May 1st to 13th. Reception party on May 5th from 6pm!
