Somebody dance with me

Have you ever imagined if Jaws was told by the point of view of the shark? Well, this is how I imagine it.

Apparently, sharks - including the great white shark - don't really fancy human flesh as a meal, if they bite it's more to make sure what it is. So I imagined a really lonely and sad big shark who just wanted some human friends.

For this piece, I used a brush pen on paper for the outline and colored it digitally. I also included a version with the title written in Japanese to play with the words "same" (shark, in Japanese) and "somebody" in an intentional typo.

The title came from a Twin Peaks sequence said by character Leland Palmer.
