For this story, I collaborated with @julia-nascimento, whose work I found right here on Canvas. I thought her style would add an interesting dimension to the tale of an accused groper, who runs into the train tunnels and meets a young woman smoking cigarettes in a small, dark, hideaway.
The story is based on a few articles I read about businessmen running along the tracks (for actual groping). I thought it odd that after one person did it, it suddenly seemed to happen more and more often; I wanted to have that feature in a story in some way.
I like the way Julia's illustrations provide insight and imagery, without taking away any of the question marks I want to linger once you finish reading. I hope you enjoy it. :)
