I recently read, "Snow Country", and Kawabata's subtle use of seasons and the weather to create layered feelings and atmosphere made me want to play with the same idea, in my own style, and pay homage to his work.

The result is the fairly simple story of a relationship that starts and ends in the same season, and the feelings that interweave with the changing weather and environment.
