An incredible place with an incredible History.
Gunkanjima or Battleship Island is an abandoned island about 15 kilometres out to sea from Nagasaki. It also featured in the James Bond film Skyfall.
I wanted to photograph the Island as per my impression.
This image featured in Creative Review's Photography Annual.
I am looking to exhibit this image as well as others from my impressionistic landscape work of Japan.

Wow, this is a really cool image of Gunkajima! Was there mist around on the day itself as well? Cause it really gave the photograph an edge!
