The Tokyoiter - a collection of illustrated covers for an imaginary magazine

The Tokyoiter is project initiated by Andrew Joyce and myself.

The Tokyoiter is a collection of covers of an imaginary magazine inspired by The New Yorker. We are inviting the best illustrators living and working in Japan to draw their vision of Tokyo.

We hope that each cover will be a testimony of what’s make Tokyo such a fascinating place to live and experience. We are sure that with this tribute to The New Yorker traditional cover art and The Parisianer Project, we can both celebrate illustration, cartooning, drawing, art, creativity… and Tokyo.

Please take a look at our new website and wait for more covers and great illustrations.
