Tokyo-based producer and entrepreneur from Texas. I've designed and produced language products, videos, maps, product packaging, photography, audio programs and software applications.

Highlights include:
- A series of top-selling language products (design, content and packaging)
- A series of audio tours for Tokyo's most interesting neighborhoods (maps, photography, script writing, audio editing, field recording, music composition)
- Produced a documentary video for Playboy, USA.
- Produced a series of Japanese Graded Readers for iPad

  1. Kana Flashcards

    Working with Mizuho Sakao and Maury Aaseng, we created around 100 original illustrations which provide both visual and verbal mnemonics for learning hiragana and katakana. Very challenging project but also very rewarding.

  2. Producer. TOKYO REALTIME tours interweave narration and interviews within a soundscape of location ambience. The tours deliver a seamless mix of adventure and cultural insight while navigating real-world spaces

  3. Created Blackship.com, a Japan-based package forwarding service. Branding, UI for web app.

  4. Created a series of Japanese Kanji Flashcards together with Tomoko Okazaki. The set of 2000 kanji cards includes over 12,000 kanji compound words in total.
