People Make Places

People Make Places began as a guide book under a different brand. But in the process of making it, I started to fall a little bit in love with the people I was interviewing. So I reimagined the project around them and created People Make Places. We have a beautiful hardback book to inspire people with stories of interesting people and places; a handy digital iOS app with maps, directions, and new content added weekly; and a concierge service staffed by a real human being to help visitors who can't speak the language.
