About me
I arrived here many years ago as a journalist, and then took a long detour into the travel industry. I recently launched a new project, People Make Places, a multi-platform guide introducing Tokyo's best places through their human characters who imagined them – the chef of the restaurant, the curator of the gallery, and the barista of the coffee shop. It's also a way of returning to my roots as a writer, while at the same time taking my travel business in a new direction.
Plus I really do believe that people make places.
