LOCALE twin benches

Dining benches for LOCALE restaurant, Meguro, Tokyo.

The leg's structure and the poles of the backrest are made out of a solid piece of Ash wood and crafted into hexadecagon profiles. The first intention was to create round profiles, but in the process to achieve that the polygon faces looked so good that I changed the design and created polygon corners in the entire piece.

Every face produce a different shade of brown from the viewer and the feel is awesome! - this piece is to be touch and rub.

I’m sitting in it now. Nice job.
