What is architecture?

A kind of a manifesto video of 20 points of what I think architecture is.

Martin. Good meeting you at Kaisu this past weekend. I agree with you that the current state of architecture creates 'fixed static moments in space." However I enjoy playing with this notion. I am more of an "imaginary Architect"(not licensed). I am working on a book titled Mobileopolis where I have created a world of colossal vehicles; mobile cities, neighborhoods, mountains, airports, you name it. Mobile architecture. I am curious where would this fall into your definition of 'architecture?'

Hans Hollein use to say "everything is architecture", and I kind of agree. Architecture is not just the build environment, but thinking about architecture, writing and drawing architecture are equally architectural as well. Martin Van Der Linden , I LOVE Lebbeus Woods' drawings! When I was in architecture school, I spent hours in library tracing famous illustrators' works, trying to discover their secrets. Of course I have my own style now, which is a bit more organic perhaps. To give you an idea what I am talking about: http://www.danielschallau.com/work#/new-page-62/ I'm going to follow your videos. Nice series.
