Enpowerment workshop for Blossom Blast 2017. I was recently asked when I felt on fire- this night, facilatating this workshop, watching doubts transformed into drawings, was one of those times. Write up: http://www.divyamariekato.com/bloom-blossom-blasting-international-womens-day-2017/
That's the thing about our doubts - "I'm not good enough", "It's been done before", "I should pull back..." - If instead of letting our doubts become a wall of words (in the head) that pin us down, we harness that energy and move to create with it (out of the head and into the body), we can always move forward. And in that space, the space of creating, tapping into our earliest ancestors and our childhood instincts, magic happens.
Thank you Team Blossom Blast 2017, Tokyo Dex and Ultra Super New Gallery and special thanks to Miki Saito, the artist behind Blossom Blast, for inviting me to be part of it.
