I was recently assigned to create a video short, with complete freedom over the subject and the music—as long as it was set in Japan. I chose the topic, selected the music, did the camera work, and the editing. The video was produced over three days in early February, with the Kami-sama clearly on my side: it happened to coincide with the heaviest snowfall in many years.
