Most of my life has been spent in East Asia, primarily in Japan, with eight years in Yogyakarta, Indonesia (2012-2020). In the 1990s, I worked extensively in central Africa, Australia, and New York, producing features for international publications. I often created more material than needed, driven by my own vision, resulting in a vast archive of unpublished work.
Now, digital media allows me to share these untold stories as I originally intended. Upcoming ebooks will showcase my 1992-93 work on climate change in central Africa, covering the Mbororo pastoralists, the Bantu, the Bayaka pygmies, and an ascent of the Ruwenzori Mountains.
Future publications will also document my journeys through Australia's arid lands and an Atlantic crossing on a tall ship. Upcoming ebooks will include not only text and photos but also original interviews, sounds, music and videos for a more immersive experience.
