[What we do]
SOUNDRAW is a music composition service for video creators.
Simply specify the genre, the song length and the instruments you want, and the AI will generate music for you based on your needs.
You can then choose a song you like from the generated music and customize it further: move the hook (or “high point”) of a song, change the tempo, or change the intensity of a bar to make the music fit your video perfectly.

[Why we do it]
SOUNDRAW wants to democratize music composition and bring about a world where anyone can create music, even without music skills.

As the number of creators grows rapidly each year, the need for content creation tools is becoming more and more critical. Traditionally, a creator would make a video and then search for a song matching their video on a royalty-free music site such as Artlist or Epidemic Sound. This is not only a very inefficient method, as it can take hours, sometimes days, to find the right song, but it will never yield perfect results - the song will never perfectly match your video, so you will need to make adjustments and sometimes even compromises to your original video.
With SOUNDRAW, on the other hand, you can get the right song in a matter of minutes.

SOUNDRAW is causing a paradigm shift: from "searching" music to "creating" music.

[How we do it]
Work is basically full remote, but we believe offline time together is essential to keep happy and motivated, so we get together regularly: a team retreat once every few months, a weekly happy hour at WeWork, a monthly all-hands meeting, etc. We try to create a high level of camaraderie even when we are fully remote.

Although we are an early stage startup with only a few people, we have already expanded into the global market. More than 40% of our users are non Japanese, so our product is created in both Japanese and English.

We value diversity and strive to maintain a 50/50 male/female ratio. The COO is Spanish.
