About me

Since 2009, I have been living on&off in Japan, UK, Italy, Iceland and Finland where I am pursuing my academic and artistic career as sound designer, video maker, photographer and writer.

Between 2001 and 2007, I have been lecturing at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice (Italy); since 2012 I teach at the Academies of Bologna and of Verona.

I have been featured (as media-artist) at the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria; the International Biennales of Art and Architecture in Venice, Italy; the Victory Media Network in Dallas, United States; the Pantaloon Art Gallery in Osaka, Japan; the New Media Fest in Cologne, Germany; the Pantheon Gallery in Nicosia, Cyprus; the Kurye Video Org in Istanbul, Turkey; the Video and New Media Art Festival in Ljubljana, Slovenia; and the Netherlands Media Art Institute in Amsterdam, Netherlands… and more.

  5. The singer/songwriter Kumiko Mouri asked me to remix one of her new songs, as result: four different tracks (sang both in English and Japanese) have been published as an EP; I also did the cover-design.
