I was approached by Deadman brewery in Hong Kong to create a piece of artwork for their latest craft beer. My goal was to create a piece that matched their existing style whilst putting in my own flair. Here is the brief

'A zombie pilot flying a ww1 plane, gunning and flying'

As well as this message we spoke about possible ideas for extra elements, and I shared the creative process to help build the overall piece.

I created the artwork using Affinity Designer for the iPad Pro. It was the first time using the software as I had previously been using Illustrator. However I found it very easy to pick up and would highly recommend it.

After finishing the artwork, I then applied it to the label that the client provided. I did this using the given template, editing the colours and description to best match the artwork.

As most fits need to be in the .ai file format, I had to adjust my files to work with Affinity. It didn't take too long, and once organised I found it very efficient.
