Life in Japan - Kamakura

2 September 2018 ● less than 1 min read ● 0 images

Kamakura is a town in Kanagawa Prefecture and about an hour away from Tokyo.
It used to be the seat for the Kamakura Shogunate.
Today Kamakura is a very popular tourist destination with it's many temples, shrines and sand beaches.
Yuigahama Beach is very popular with paddleboarders and windsurfers and in summer it can get very crowded due to it's convenient location and good facilities.
