Shinjuku Signs

The idea for ‘Shinjuku Signs’ came about through wanting to combine the bright neon lights and constent motion experienced when in the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku.

I created this ‘Shinjuku Signs’ motion graphics video by making the graphics in Illustrator, animating them in After Effects, and finally editing it all together in Premier Pro. I had been learning how to use all three for a while, but up until this point had never made anything using all three software for one project. It was a great experience to create a look and feel that caputures the main themes of light and movement in Tokyo, and in future projects I have continued to develop expressing these themes further.
