The Ginza Metro line are currently promoting a competition to design their, soon to be, renovated stations. I was asked to draw a cityscape of the area for the poster.
They're up till mid-december so hopefully you'll see them around!
It was a pretty painless project. I was given a list of buildings to draw, the dimensions they had to fit in and that was it. Tricky part was the deadline though as they needed everything finished in 4 days and ready to print.
Overall it was about 2 weeks from receiving the brief to seeing the posters around Tokyo stations.
I'm an illustrator from the UK currently living in Tokyo. I specialize in cityscapes, hand drawn lettering and observational illustration.
