Japanese Gardener at Shunkoin, Myoshinji, Kyoto

Japanese gardens are my specialty, though publishers often want more photos with people in them, which is challenging since most gardens, apart from "strolling gardens" forbid visitors from entering the garden itself. I persuaded my friend Rev Taka Kawakami at Shunkoin to tidy up the garden at his temple for this shot. Canon 5D Mark II
