Gyukodo

Gyukodo

For the past few years I have been commissioned by a publisher of calendars for their "Gardens of the Spirit" series. Amber-Lotus, who publishes these calendars, want new, fresh, unseen photos of Japanese gardens. Though this has been a challenge, it gets me out and about around Japan. This gem, Gyukodo, is way out beyond Ome in Mitake, in what is technically Tokyo-to but you'd never imagine you are within Tokyo's boundaries. A challenge to get to, yes, but well worth the travel. The garden is a part of a museum. Canon 6D.
