Sleeve art for a digital-only album released under New Weird Australia, a not-for-profit organisation that promotes eclectic and experimental Australian music. Sixes & Twelves was a compilation of tracks from different artists that each featured a guitar in some way.
By moving different objects (water in a glass, biscuit crumbs, gauche in water, etc) over a scanner, I generated images that evoked the dark and piercing sounds of the album. The final image is monolithic and mysterious, and has a strong visual connection to the bridge of a six-stringed guitar.
An art director and designer looking closely at things in Tokyo.
