Room in a community center

This day was a strong rain and I had to stay inside the house I live. It is not a usual house, It is a neighbourhood association building (自治会館). To describe life there, there is no better way for me, than pictures, since my 日本語 need more training. People, have you ever heard about Japanese neighbourhood association (自治会) or join one?
I'm an environmental artist and educator, urban sketcher. Study community design, live in the Japanese local community.
