What creators do on a Summer break? Create more, of course!
The Mikado, is a comic opera created by W. S. Gilbert, that opened on 1885, in London. Set in Japan, an exotic locale far away from Britain, is a mixed pot of stereotypes. In 1960, it become a televised version, starred by Groucho Marx.
This short animation is just an experiment on rigging facial expressions in characters to test a Python script I wrote to automate the expressions based on a soundtrack. Modelling and animation by C4D and edited with FCPX.
