"The World of Ukiyoe" is a free-entry exhibition that will be held at The Ueno Royal Museum (上野の森美術館) in Ueno Koen 4/24 and 4/25. A large selection of authentic ukiyoe prints will be displayed, along with ukiyoe-inspired installation art and art performances. An additional room with hold a group exhibition of "modern ukiyoe" with an eclectic selection of contemporary Tokyo-based artists' works.
I (Erica Ward) will also have two artworks on display, including a new painting inspired by the Ukiyo-e theme specially for this exhibit.
