About me
I was born in Japan, have lived all over the world, most recently in San Francsico, and am now based in Tokyo. I studied at Central St Martins in London, where I was also a lecturer for several years.
I work as a freelance illustrator, and spend the rest of my time making mokuhanga prints. I draw constantly. I love working on projects about travel, food and lifestyle. I do all sorts of work, from editorial illustrations and ceramic designs to painting large murals and creating props for window displays.
All my work is done internationally and I would really love to work on some projects here in Japan. My Japanese is passable...
Thanks!

Martha Stewart Weddings magazine
2 November 2020
I drew a series of large backdrops in chalk for a wedding photo shoot for the magazine. I created the illustrations on paper first and then drew them by hand onto coloured wooden panels.
