'The Curious Girl' by Casey Hawkins- Children's Book

I wrote and illustrated a book to explain to my students back in Australia why I decided to head to Japan before the end of the school year. I wrote the book as I was unable to find any published stories (worldwide) to explain my motivation for moving on in a way that young students could comprehend and feel involved in the process. Although the story is uniquely my own, it addresses the concept of loss in an uplifting way. While most 'loss' books help children deal with death or permanent displacement, my book promotes loss as an exciting opportunity for change, despite the associated sadness that comes with saying goodbye.

I'm seeking a publisher for this book. Get in touch if that's you.
