This is one of the illustrations that I created in SVA Summer Residency Program 2017. I used acrylic gouache to create this piece.
I illustrated Japanese fairy tale "Tongue Cut Sparrow." I set the setting in modern time, and this depicts a scene when a good old man visits sparrow's villa.
