I Won't Let You Go

Materials: pen, COPIC marker
This is an illustration that I drew based on Japanese fairy tale called "Urashima Taro." Urashima Taro decided to go home after years and years in the sea, but he couldn't forget the enjoyment and pleasure in the sea. Therefore, he drowned himself into the sea of memory.
I exhibited this work at me and my friend uebow's joint exhibition "MUKASHI ×MUKASHI," which had been held at L'illustre Galerie LE MONDE at Harajuku, Tokyo from June 28, 2016 to July 3.
