OPEN CALL for the next ToCo story anthology

Submit to the next collection:
Title: “matsuri”
Theme: Festivals and Celebration in Tokyo
Projected Release: November, 2020

Inviting artists, illustrators, writers, and beyond to submit their visual stories of “Festivals/Celebration in Tokyo.”

We will work together with artists through the submission process, providing you with deadlines and feedback to help make the submission process easier and more fulfilling.

The ultimate submission will be one visual story 2 to 6 pages (1 to 3 spreads), black and white, to be printed in a portrait-oriented A5 book. Stories must follow the theme “matsuri” and include the concept of “festival” or “celebration” as well as be clearly connected to “Tokyo.”

Participation fee including member registration fee is ¥2000 yen and includes 3 copies of the book.

The first deadline is the idea deadline on 4/30. Please send us your story idea(s) by this date. Early is of course fine.
