  • BCCJ SME and Startup Night

    I'll be co-hosting this event!

    ---

SMEs are the backbone of the Japanese economy, accounting for 99.7% of all enterprises and 70% of all employees. Famous Japanese multinationals such as Toyota, Honda and Sony all began as small regional companies and the majority of products made by large enterprises are made up of parts produced by SME subcontractors. Needless to say, pursuing the growth and progress of SMEs is essential to building a plentiful society and sustaining the country’s economy . . .

This is why we are introducing the BCCJ SME and Startup Night – an open community event for those looking to connect, share and learn from other entrepreneurs (both successful and aspiring!) in Japan. Through coming together, the BCCJ strives to facilitate a support network where ideas and solutions are explored together, enabling small businesses to develop and grow.

For our first event on January 26, we will keep the agenda minimal, so please just come along after work, bring your business cards and an open mind and we look forward to meeting you. This is a casual session, and you are welcome to stay for as long or as little as you would like. This event is free to join (BCCJ members and non-members alike), with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available (cash on delivery).
