The opening party for my gallery show was a great success. Thank you for those that came. But since it was on a Tuesday, I am sorry that some people who wanted to couldn't attend. Plus I didn’t get to talk to many of you that did come. So, I'd like to hold a second party this Friday night. Please come and talk, network, drink, look at art and have fun. We'll have beer, wine coffee and soda. BTW, the cafe's sweets are delicious! TGIF, let’s have a good time!

東京在住・アメリカ人イラストレーター・ダニエルのイラスト展です。

”アルファベット・カー”シリーズの他、ファッションアートのイラスト、得意とする細かいタッチのイラストを展示します。ほとんどはApple iPad Proで描かれたものです。

Daniel Schallau Exhibition

Hats off to sorama+gallery for giving me the opportunity to have my first solo illustration exhibition in Tokyo! My work is an eclectic mix of styles, but one common theme is the way I take a common idea or object and change it into something else — a farm moving about the countryside, a city a roaming from place to place or simply or the letter ‘d’ drawn as a dump truck. The show features imaginative typeface alphabet illustrations for a future book. I think you will be surprised what I have I created on the Apple iPad Pro.
