物語でないシアター。 「Alive Painting」のパフォーマンスとノイズ/即興音楽家達の感性が織り成す未知の世界観。今回の「Tokyo Noise Theater」は、３本のライブステージ各々にテーマを持たせ、感覚から生まれる音と映像の瞬間的な劇を創る。オーストリアを代表する実験的バイオリニスト「Mia Zabelka」を迎え、国内から才気に溢れた豪華アーティストと共にお贈りするスペシャルナイト。(flyerphoto by 中山晃子)

巻上公一
静岡県熱海市生まれ、在住。ヒカシューのリーダーとして1978年から現在に至るまで作詩作曲はもちろん声の音響やテルミン、口琴(こうきん)を使ったソロワークやコラボレーションも精力的に行っている。類いまれな歌のセンス、声の可能性の追求、斬新な切り口と諧謔精神を備え、歌謡曲から歌ともつかぬ歌まで、そのパフォーマンスは縦横無尽且つ自然体。最近はいくつかのシアターピース(代表は宇宙語「チャクルパ」シリーズ)にも着手している。シベリアのトゥバ共和国に伝わる喉歌ホーメイの紹介者、第一人者であり、指導者としても多くの歌手を育てている。また世界のさまざまフェスティバルにも招聘されている。

Hair Stylistics
音楽、映画、文学、イラストの世界で特異な才能を発揮しつづける中原昌也の音楽ユニット。90年代より「暴力温泉芸者=Violent Onsen Geisha」名義でミュージシャンとして活動。アメリカのインディレーベルからアルバムをリリースし、海外公演も重ねるなど高く評価される。1997年からユニット名を「Hair Stylistics」に変更。並行して映画評論も手がけ、処女著作は現在も語り継がれる衝撃の書。以後も『エーガ界に捧ぐ』『シネコン』など映画 に関する著書多数。1998年には初の短篇小説集『マリ&フィフィの虐殺ソングブック』を発表。2001年『あらゆる場所に花束が......』で三島由紀夫賞、 2006年『名もなき孤児たちの墓』で野間文芸新人賞、2008年『中原昌也の 作業日誌2004→2007』でBunkamuraドゥマゴ文学賞受賞と、小説の分野でも才能を発揮するものの、一貫して書きたくて書いているのではないという後ろ向きな態度を崩さない。イラストやコラージュなどブラック&クールな画業にもファンが多く、絵本も刊行した。

Mia Zabelka
ノイズ・アーティスト、作曲家。チェコ、フランスの血筋を引く過程で生まれ育ち、ウィーンを拠点に実験的なバイオリン奏者、ヴォーカリストとして活動する。クラシックに比重を置いた後、バイオリンが持つ音の可能性に基づいた電子音楽へと拡張。革新的な記述を駆使したパフォーマンスを行う。Robin Rimbaud, Pauline Oliveros, Electric Indigo, Dälek, Lydia Lunch, Saffronkeira, Phill Niblock, John Zorn, John Russell, Maggie Nicols, Audrey Chenといった世界中の一流のアーティストたちとコラボレーションしてきた。またヨーロッパ、アメリカ、アジアの実験音楽のフェスティバルに多数出演し、中でも1979年に設立されたオーストリアのPrix Ars Electronicでは3回賞を獲得した。オーストリアを代表する実験的バイオリニストである。

目秦寛史
ソロ名義Mehata Sentimental Legendとして2011年、ドイツのMind Plug Recordsからアルバム「Noum Zeccyou」をリリース。「Radical Fusion of old Japanese ritual music and futuristic psychedelic noise」と称され欧州ウェブ音楽誌数誌にレビュー掲載。米ラジオでも特集される。 以降、数枚のアルバムリリースに加え海外のミュージシャン・芸術家などとのコラボレーションを行っていく中、挿絵に描いていたイラストが関係者の目に止まり、2013年スペイン・オビエドのアートギャラリーTEXUにて「Mehata Hiroshi –NoumZeccyou」で画家として初個展。2014年にスペイン・セビーリャのレストランAbantalで行われた展示イベントが13-14日本・スペイン400周年交流イベントに認定。 また、スペインの国営ラジオRadio3の実験的音楽番組Atmosferaにも出演。 2016年スペイン・へレスで新作展「NOUM AMATARA」、 アートアクアリウム主催の「Concorso Arte Milano 2016」のアーティストに選出されイタリアで展示。その他、ポルトガル、オーストラリア、インドネシア、チュニジアなどにも進出。 今年9月「亀山トリエンナーレ2017」出展予定。 現在はバンドGaiamamooのVo.Electronicsとしても活動中。Mia Zabelka氏とは昨年春より共作を開始。

原田仁
1990年代中頃より宗修司とのBAZOOKA JOE、勝井祐二のKICKSなどで活動を開始。 数々のセッションや海外ツアーを経験、吉田達也率いる高円寺百景では長年に渡りギタリストを務める。1990年代後期ROVO結成。三度に渡るワールドツアーを敢行。八枚のアルバム、数枚に及ぶライブアルバム、DVDをリリース。2004年よりディジュリドゥプレイヤーとしてアメリカソロツアーを開始。2013年からはHearts＆Minds名義でボイスを中心としたソロ活動を展開。2014年doubtmusicからソロアルバムをリリース。現在に至る。

スッパマイクロパンチョップ
1998年以後竹村延和のレーベルChildiscから７枚の電子音楽アルバムを発表。2013年からレコード水越代表。DJ、作曲、歌、ドラム、プロデュース、デザイン、イラスト、ヌードモデル等。

Shogo Haraguchi
バンドGaiamamooのbassist、フレットレスベースにペダルエフェクターを多用した独自の奏法を探求。2000年代をアメリカやドイツで過ごし、その土地の様々な音楽に触れ自身の表現に深く影響を受ける。セッションやバンドサポートを経て2009年より東京に活動拠点を移し、2012年よりMehata Sentimental Legendとの実験即興ユニットGaiamamooを結成。スペインツアー、NYツアー、ギャラリー／ラジオ／ローカルフェスなどで国内外でライブ活動を行う。2015年六本木SDLXにて行われたSound Live Tokyo ”東京都初耳区"に選出。 2016年NYツアーのライブセットがRidgewood Radioでオンエア。Festes Majors Alternatives de Vallcarca (Barcelona, Spain, 2016) 、Festival GIGANOISE 2 (Tokyo, Japan, 2016)、Ende Tymes 7 Festival (NY, USA, 2017)。不定期開催のバトルセッションイベント”天下一Buzz音会”のホスト／キュレーターを務める。

中山晃子
画家。液体から固体までさまざまな材料を相互に反応させて絵を描く「Alive Painting」というパフォーマンスを行う。科学的、物理的な法則に基づくあらゆる現象や、現れる色彩を、生物や関係性のメタファーとして作品の中に生き生きと描く。ソロでは音を「透明な図像」として扱い、絵を描くことによって空間や感情に触れる。近年では TEDxHaneda、Audiovisual Media festival 2015 (台湾) 、Ars Electronica Fes 2016 (オーストリア)にも出演。

Koichi Makigami
Koichi Makigami is leader, vocalist, thereminist, cornet and shakuhachi player for rock band Hikashu. He is known for his virtuosic vocal range and expression as well as his unique incorporation of elements of theatre, performance, and entertainment, all of which make this Japanese band so widely acclaimed both critically and popularly. Makigami is also active as voice improvisation artist and solo performer and has worked and collaborated with a great many artists and musicians in a wide variety of areas and styles, including Yuji Takahashi, John Zorn, Meredith Monk, David Moss, Ikue Mori, Phil Minton, Lauren Newton, Jaap Blonk, Carl Stone, Jon Rose, Guy Klucevsek, Derek Bailey, John Talor, Jim O’Rouke, Thomas Stronen and more. Makigami formed Japan Tuva Khoomei Association in 1998 and has invited many Tuvan singers to Japan. Ongoing projects include his aforementioned avant-pop unit, performances using interactive computer technology, voice improvisation, and various work as organizer and producer. Recent works include: HIKASHU album “Silence be alive" (2015 makigami record). Voice performance piece Chakurupa 1,2 3,4 and Chakurupattam (2003-2014). Vocal conduction piece Chakurupa navi (2006). Solo theremin album "Moon Eather" (2006 doubtmusic). Solo voice album "Koedarake" (2005 Tzadik). Since 2008, he also serves as main producer for Jazz Art Sengawa.

Hair Stylistics
Hair Stylistics also known by his stage names Violent Onsen Geisha, is a Japanese musician, writer and actor. He was described by Allmusic as "one of those musical entities that defy categorization. He co-starred in Shinji Aoyama's 2005 film My God, My God, Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me with Tadanobu Asano.

Mia Zabelka
Mia Zabelka is a noise artist, composer as well as an amazing experimental violinist and vocalist from Vienna, with czech, jewish and french familiar background. After completing her training with a strong classical emphasis, she continued to construct and explore the limits of sound and music in a language entirely her own, based on the de- and reconstruction of the violin’s sonic possibilities, expanding the range of the instrument using live electronic devices, preparing it through the insertion of alien objects between or on the strings and innovative performance techniques. Mia Zabelka describes this process as AUTOMATIC PLAYING, continuously exploring sound and music as physical phenomena, always pushing back the boundaries in experimental performances and compositions that question established notions, improving the available techniques and given structures. The violin and her own voice and body are transformed in the process into sound bodies which are at once organic and primal, screaming, lyrical, composed and explosive. She has collaborated with a string of exciting artists from around the world, such as Robin Rimbaud, Pauline Oliveros, Electric Indigo, Dälek, Lydia Lunch, Saffronkeira, Phill Niblock, John Zorn, John Russell, Maggie Nicols and Audrey Chen. She has given concerts and performances at many Festivals throughout Europe, America and Asia. Numerous CD, vinyl and video releases. Recipient of highly regarded prizes (3-time winner oft the Prix Ars Electronica) and awards, she was a guest of the DAAD's (German Academic Exchange Service's) international artists' programme in Berlin and the Fulbright Commission in New York. Mia Zabelka is currently the artistic director of Phonofemme Festival Vienna and Klanghaus Untergreith in the region of South Styria.

Hiroshi Mehata
Mehata's music explores the subconscious boundaries between light and shadow, vision and hearing, death and rebirth. In a radical fusion of old Japanese ritual music and futuristic psychedelic noise, Mehata's ethereal soundscapes express the transitory states of mind experienced in the fleeting moments when leaving reality and entering a dream, opening the doors to a new era of music from Japan. In his album Noum Zeccyou, the super-future is thus united with the super-past.

Jin Harada
Since the mid-1990s, Jin started activities with BAZOOKA JOE with SO SHUJI, and KICKS with Yuji Katsui. Experience in numerous sessions and overseas tours. He has been a guitarist for many years on the Koenji Hyakkei led by Tatsuya Yoshida. Formed ROVO in the late 1990s. The band has taken three world tours and eight albums, several pieces of live album and DVD released so far. He also has started the US tour as a solo didjeridu player since 2004, then from 2013 he developed solo activities centered on voice in the name of Hearts & Minds. Released his solo album from doubtmusic in 2014.

Suppa Micro Pamchopp
Since 1998, he has released seven electronics music albums from Label Childisc of Nobukazu Takemura. From 2013, he is a representative of Record Mizukoshi. DJ, composer, song, drum, producer, design, illustration, nude model etc...

Shogo Haraguchi
A noise bassist. Live and recording activities based in Germany from the middle of 2000s. After that, moved to base in Tokyo and formed the experimental　improvisation unit Gaiamamoo with Hiroshi Mehata in 2012. Tour the countries abroad such as Spain and US. In 2017, the band appeared in Noise / Experimental Liberation Festival Ende Tymes 7 in NY. He is also a host and curator of sounds battle session event “Buzz On Kai” in Tokyo.

Akiko Nakayama
Visual artist Akiko Nakayama creates installations, live performance and photographic works dealing with energy cycles, movement and colors. Employing a wide range of techniques, her unique approach to live painting results in melting landscapes, kaleidoscopic patterns and surreal and saturated vistas. Working in collaboration with some of Japan’s most distinctive improvising artists, including Keiji Haino, Akira Sakata and Hiromichi Sakamoto, she pursues what she titles ‘alive painting’, in which she aims to find the ‘existence of life’ in the act of creating out of nothingness.
