Description
We are looking for engineers skilled in frontend development. We currently use Vue.js as our preferred framework, however developers familiar with other frameworks are welcome to apply. As our platform is growing rapidly, you will help us build our platform to handle payments on a global scale.
As a frontend engineer you will work closely with our design team and other developers, to define features and ship performant, scalable and beautiful web pages. You will also work with other developers to review changes and participate in architecture discussions, to ensure that our product maintains our high standards for quality.
Our ideal candidate has experience working with Vue, and web applications that handle large amounts of traffic. They will also have strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS. Testing and code quality are also extremely important to us, so having a strong knowledge of testing and the different testing types is required. They would also be comfortable with Ruby and Rails, and able to make small tweaks to the backend code as needed to support frontend requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work with the design team to convert designs into working code
- Use the latest web technologies to build responsive pages that can adapt to a variety of screen sizes
- Support team members through code review and architecture discussions
- Write tests that validate the stability and correctness of implementations
Requirements
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and JS
- Strong understanding of SPA frameworks (preferably Vue.js but others are fine)
- Experience with building web pages for both mobile and desktop use
- Experience with testing frontend applications
- Familiarity with browser based i18n functionality
Nice to Haves
These are optional, but be sure to mention them when applying
- Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- Experience working on backend web development
- Experience with Typescript
Salary
6,000,000 - 12,000,000 yen / year
Includes (rough estimate of) profit share. Based on experience and skill level
