Left the British Foreign Office in 2017 to establish Smith & Edit, providing freelance PR consulting to international clients in Japan.

I have led both agency and in-house teams for business and government, managing campaigns for major international brands across consumer sectors, industry and policy areas, including sponsorship and partnership in Formula 1, Olympics, Rugby World Cup and global sports.

Previously PR director and Head of Media, Marketing and Communications at British Embassy Tokyo, responsible for the British government's public facing communications in Japan and the region, working directly with leading British and Japanese brands, agencies and global partners.
