About me

I'm originally from Glasgow and have been living in Tokyo since August 2014. I worked for the Scottish tourist board for 5 years before I left to travel around Asia for a few months. When I arrived in Tokyo I worked for a Japan travel planning startup for a couple of years. I love to travel, I'm obsessed with Asian food, and I'm really enjoying discovering Japan's many hidden gems. I'm a total novice, but I really enjoy practicing brush lettering, calligraphy, and pencil drawing. I founded My Bungu Box, a Japanese stationery subscription box that feeds my obsession with good design, geometric patterns, and stationery!
