About me

Joël Cruz is a Swiss-born commercial filmmaker with a background in advertising and design. A graduate of Miami Ad School, Joël spent four years working as an Art Director for some of the world's most renowned advertising agencies in Germany, Sweden, Brazil, and Japan.

His work for clients such as the United Nations, Adot, and DAZN earned him multiple D&AD, Clio, LIA awards, as well as two Grand Prix at AdStars and several shortlists at Cannes Lions. Joël left the agency world to concentrate on his passion, which is making commercials, music videos and short films. Since then he's worked with local and international clients such as Google, Mercedes, BEAMS, 88Rising, Harvey Nichols, and Red Bull.
