This was done in a style that I haven't tried in a while. It involved creating the image entirely in black and white and limiting my color to those values.

Kirin have such a large variety of descriptions and designs that it was really hard to choose just one idea to go with. They can have feathers, scales, antlers. They can be deer-like, dragon-like, giraffe-like, unicorn-like...
