About me

Originally from the Philippines, I'm a travel junkie who writes to express myself and fund my escapades. I was an advertising copywriter for 7 years in Singapore before I took a semi-sabbatical and moved to Tokyo. I'm ready to get back in the saddle because I miss working with talented and quirky individuals who are equally passionate about creative work.

My Creations

  1. I get a kick out of people-watching in Japan so I decided to write this piece for Tokyo Weekender: http://www.tokyoweekender.com/2014/10/the-8-types-of-people-youll-meet-on-the-tokyo-subway/

  2. I'm still infatuated with this city and I hope others would be inspired to make a decision that would expand their lives :) Read more here: http://www.tokyoweekender.com/2014/12/8-reasons-you-were-born-to-live-in-tokyo/

  3. One of the print ads I've written for BK Singapore in response to their biggest competitor, McDonald's. I had less than 2 hours to write it and I realized that there's no bigger motivator than time pressure. Luckily, it was approved by the client on the first try!

  4. Ad agency work from Singapore. Wrote the copy for this print ad in 2007 to sell bedroom essentials in a tongue in cheek manner :)
