About me

A creative with around 18 years' experience in advertising, including 12 in Asia. I take a media-neutral approach toward marketing. Whether communicating online, offline, or through new media that's still struggling with its identity, I love to come up with and craft big, strategically-sound ideas that hold a campaign together.

As a senior creative, Group Head and CD, I have worked in client-facing roles across a number of accounts, including Heineken, Coke and McDonald's, Unilever, The Economist, Miele, Motorola, Singapore Health Promotion Board, CIMB Bank and various insurance, financial and educational institution accounts.

I'm a creative partner in a Tokyo-based, creative advertising agency. My Japanese partner and I specialise in helping foreign companies enter the Japanese market, and Japanese companies looking to expand beyond the local market.

Together with my Japanese creative partner, I also help Japanese companies create and give impactful, memorable presentations to international audiences and venture capitalists.

  2. A personal video project that shows some of a hike I did across the beautiful landscapes of the far western Mongolian steppe.

  10. Shibuya in Snowmotion

    21 May 2020

While stuck at home during the lockdown and with too much time on my hands, I decided to make a...stop motion? Snow motion? A video thingy.
The photos were taken around Shibuya and Ebisu, on a rather picturesque snowy night back in January, 2018.
