About me

Dividing my time between Tokyo & Honolulu, I am an internationally exhibited fiber and metalsmith artist creating sculptures and installation pieces utilizing textile techniques. I often turn my camera lens on my own designs creating macro photography pieces from my sculptural works.

  1. Tako Tea Time

    'Tako Tea Time' is part of a project started in 2013 which I am resurrecting, digitizing, and feel the time is finally right for a successful completion. Originally done in colored pencil & ink, digitally redone using Adobe Sketch.

    Figure #2 - Printed crochet pattern (w28cm x h43cm) created using Adobe Sketch. Completed wire crochet piece w/embroidery thread (h38cm x w12cm). Utilizing 26gauge colored copper wire, 4/0 Clover hook, and fiber.

    Work being constructd as Artist-in-Residence at Ark of the Unicorns in Honolulu, Hawaii: First foray into creating beautiful charted crochet patterns using Adobe Sketch. This design was ultimately crocheted in black & navy blue colored copper wire and fiber to a height of approx 50cm.
