About me

I am initially a graphic designer but I have recently taken the steps to move towards my dream of becoming an illustrator. I am based in Tokyo and like many artists, I find Tokyo, and Japan in general, very inspiring! I love drawing neighborhood scenes and objects from my everyday life. I also cannot resist the Japanese "kawaiiness" so it is quite present in my work.

I am always happy to meet people for the creative sector, so feel free to contact me if you would like to talk!

My Creations

  1. Inspired by the cherry blossom season and old postcards I saw at various spring festivals. Made with crayons

  2. I have always loved the colours of train crossing elements in Tokyo. That yellow and black colour combination with a bit of red, under a beautiful blue sky, it is made to be drawn!

  3. Spring laundry

    23 May 2017

Everything looks beautiful under the cherry blossom, even laundry drying in the sun! Made with pastel crayons.

  4. Edo period

    26 May 2017

    Two women sharing secrets!

  5. My local vending machine! I will never see it the same way now that I've drawn it :-)

  6. I am working on a personal project of illustrating Little Things from Japan. Here it is a Highball drink but it can be anything traditional, modern, cute... just things that have caught my eye(s)! My whole series is on Instagram: @curiousdrawer! Have a good weekend!
