I am living in a small town in Japan, Hida, after moving from Tokyo 3 years ago in a belief that the forest has lots of exciting potential. What I do is to try to energize the town by making the unused wood into value and elevating the traditional skill of the joinery which is vanishing and to make the town not depend on tourism but individual orientation and creativities through new encounters with ideas, people, materials, technique. I am passionate about making the earth better and happier place to live and shedding the light on undiscovered potential and bringing to the world for future possibilities.
