Icelandic Japan

Brand positioning, identity, messaging, website, and interior graphic design for Icelandic Japan.

We’ve been working alongside the company for the past couple years to help better position their brand internationally. We recently completed the interior graphic design for their new offices here in Tokyo, physical spaces which neatly mirror the website that we have put together for them.

Beyond the UI/UX design and development of the CMS-driven website, we also worked to put together the bilingual brand messaging for them, reflecting honed strategic positioning via nuanced language.

Ever since I was a child, I was excited about big aspects of greater Nordic culture, notably mythology— though perhaps not eminently evident, the sagas of Iceland play deeply into the identity for Icelandic Japan.
