I had only about three minutes to get the photo for this magazine cover, but everything went smoothly and I was quite happy with her relaxed, confident and strong look. Photographers often worry about lighting ratios and other technical things, and while these are important, putting the photo subject in a good mood and capturing the right expression are frequently underrated ingredients of a portrait photo.
